Laszlo Lazar - Biography of a Hungarian Holocaust Survivor, Part 1 The first part (until the invasion of the Germans to Hungary) of a documentary telling the story of Laszlo Lazar, a Holocaust survivor from the West of Transilvania on the Rumanian-Hungarian border. The film shows the testimony of Mr Lazar and describes his experiences during World War ll as well as his visit to search for his roots with his daughter Vered-Roos Lazar. Mr Lazar and his daughter visit the synagogue, cemetery, meet local inhabitants and recall the events of his experiences during the Holocaust (Oradea, Auschwitz, Buchenwald, Rehmsdorf). |
